My marriage in Scotland was one of my most precious days I have ever spent throughout my life. It was like a dream coming true.
After completing my graduation I went to Scotland to work as an Engineer and here I met a Scottish girl who was my colleague at that time. As I was a new comer there and doesn’t know any Scottish language or understand it and therefore she was helping in overcoming certain situations and we became freinds in this way…
One day she decided to teach me Scots which was the turning point of our life. After our work we use to sit together for plenty of time talking to each other making each other laugh on small things. Gradually we turned into each other and at last we got committed to marriage and started to plan a Grenta Green wedding to celebrate our love. Her sweetness and cuteness can’t be compared. She used to behave like a kid and demands for very little things like sitting together, eating an ice-cream. In short she always rules on my mind. As we told this to our parents they got very much happy and decided to have the wedding ceremony there only in Scotland in the most famous temple of weddings known as Gretna Green – this is one of the best and most beautiful Wedding Venues in Scotland and we decided to tie the knot here. Couple’s getting married in Gretna thinks themselves to be very lucky as it is every Scottish dream.
The date of our marriage was declared as approximately two months later and ring ceremony after a month. We two were madly in love with each other. Slowly everything was getting arranged. Huge amount of shopping was going on the whole month on both sides. The design of wedding card was ready and everything was perfectly arranged.
We decided to have a cocktail party on the engagement day and then we will have a bachelor’s party just a night before our wedding. We called most of our friends there. My father gifted us a Mercedes as our wedding gift. After our ring ceremony time was passing so quickly that we didn’t realize it at all. Our parents did a lot of work their excitement made us even more enthusiastic. She was the perfect girl and I was proud on my decision. Marrying her was my best decision and she proved it. She was even nice more than I expected. After our marriage we came to India on vacations so as to make her closer to my childhood, where I was born, what I did, everything I made her very clear and now when I turned back after twenty years of our marriage I find her more beautiful and even more caring than any other person on this earth.
